My stay at Hotel Ella was really nice overall, though I did have a couple of minor hiccups. The service was genuinely attentive, which made a huge difference during my trip. However, I did experience some noise from a wedding party on my last night, which was a bit disruptive. Still, the location and charm of the historic hotel made it all worthwhile.

The Deluxe Pool view room I had was clean and nicely furnished, so I felt comfy during my stay. However, I wish it had a desk or chair for working.

The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond throughout my stay. They really made me feel welcome and catered to, which is hard to find these days.

Located right off MLK, it's close to UT and downtown, which is perfect for both business and leisure. The area felt vibrant and accessible.

I didn't get to try the in-house restaurant, Goodall's, but I heard amazing things about the breakfast options. The variety sounds delicious, with things like shakshuka I really wanna taste next time.

The hotel has a lovely pool area that feels like an oasis, although I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would've liked. The valet service was also great — quick and friendly.

My experience at Hotel Ella was a mixed bag. The charm of the historic hotel and cozy beds made for a comfortable stay, but I encountered some disappointments regarding room conditions and amenities that were below expectations. Overall, while I enjoyed the ambiance and staff service, some aspects left me hoping for improvements.

I found my room to be a bit musty and sparsely furnished. While the bed was incredibly comfortable, the space was smaller than I'd hoped, and the bathroom felt cramped. 😕

The hotel's location is quite convenient, especially for those visiting the University of Texas. While the area has its charm, the surrounding industrial buildings were less appealing than anticipated. 🏙️

Breakfast at Goodall's Kitchen was decent, but the $38 allowance didn't fully cover the meals for two, which was disappointing. The quality of the food was good, though! 🍽️

The hotel has beautiful outdoor spaces, but I was bummed to find the pool closed during my visit. Overall, facilities felt somewhat lacking given the price point.

I had a lovely time at Hotel Ella, especially enjoying the gorgeous historic setting and the comfort of my room. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed. However, there were some areas for improvement, particularly related to the state of certain amenities and a couple of hiccups with dining service. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again, though I hope for some refinements on my next visit.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Ella. The hotel's historic charm and comfortable beds are definite highlights, but I was disappointed by the breakfast and some noise issues during my stay. While the staff was friendly and attentive, the dining quality didn't live up to expectations. Overall, the picturesque location near the University of Texas adds some value, but it wasn't without its drawbacks. 🌅

The location is convenient for those visiting the University of Texas, though it can be somewhat noisy with traffic. It's an ideal spot for experiencing the local culture, despite not having many dining options nearby.
Dining

Breakfast at Goodall's Kitchen was disappointing; although the service was great, the food quality was below expectations. Dinner options seemed overpriced for what they offered.
Facilities

The hotel has charming decor and a pleasant atmosphere but lacks some functionality with certain amenities like the bar, which I found closed prematurely during my stay.
